A Tyler-ite, raised on the farm and ranch lands of Noonday, Ramon graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler with a Bachelor of Business Administration. As a member of Class 62, he graduated from the Southwest Graduate School of Banking with distinction while receiving the Trustees Merit Award and James B. Gardner Memorial Scholarship in recognition of academic performance. Ramon has over 19 years of community banking experience. His career has progressed through the teller-line, branch management, digital banking, treasury management operations, and now as Chief Operations Officer.

Ramon lives in Tyler with his wife Mindy, two daughters Olivia and Sophia, and two Shih Tzu’s Maverick and Mavery. He enjoys leading singing and teaching Sunday School in his church, watching almost every sport, hitting the punching bag at the gym, and even taking care of the yard. Ramon is passionate about passing on knowledge and wisdom he has gained throughout his banking career, and is eager to listen, learn, and respond to the growing needs of the customers he serves.
