As the Director of Human Resources and Marketing for Texas Bank, Steven oversees all HR matters and is responsible for carrying out the company’s marketing strategies and customer engagement initiatives. Steven started in banking over 25 years ago in a small community bank’s bookkeeping department. Over the years, his career path has taken him down paths where he has served as Chief Financial Officer and Director of Operations for mid-sized companies in Arkansas, Texas, and Louisiana. Through his experience, he brings a unique blend of strategic vision and hands on expertise to the team. With a robust background in both HR and marketing, he has a proven track record of driving organizational growth and fostering a positive work environment.
Steven attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello where he majored in accounting. He is a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at SMU's Cox School of Business. He lives in Henderson with his wife Denise. They have a son, Pearson, who is a graduate of Texas A&M University and a daughter, Kaemyn, who is a nursing student at the University of Texas - Tyler. Steven volunteers his time serving in many community organizations, but he is most passionate about his service to his local church where he is a deacon, Sunday school teacher, and a worship leader.
