Paul M. Nichols serves as Senior Vice President and Branch Manager at Texas Bank, where he brings more than a decade of experience in commercial lending and credit leadership. Since joining the bank in 2017, he has played a key role in expanding and strengthening the bank’s commercial lending portfolio, leveraging his expertise to support business clients through strategic guidance, disciplined credit analysis, and long-term relationship management.
Mr. Nichols began his banking career in 2013 as a credit underwriter, gaining a strong analytical foundation before transitioning into commercial lending. His early experience in underwriting continues to inform his balanced, risk?conscious approach to structuring financial solutions that meet the needs of both clients and the institution.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and is a graduate of the Texas Tech Rawls School of Banking as well as the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University. His academic background, combined with extensive industry experience, provides a unique perspective that blends financial insight with an understanding of human behavior, leadership, and strategic decision-making.
Originally relocating to Prosper, Texas in 2013, Mr. Nichols and his wife continue to reside in the community. Their four children, all graduates of Prosper ISD, are now pursuing their college educations.
